Graphic Design
Graphic communication spans the history of man. It is quite literally the oldest form of writing and story-telling. We now know this field of communication as graphic design, thanks to William Addison Dwiggins who coined the term ‘graphic design’ in order to describe his various activities in book design, illustration, typography, lettering and calligraphy.
Graphic design uses a range of cognitive skills and often fuses images and text together to form an overall message or to illustrate an idea or brand. Graphic design, like web design is a very subjective discipline. What may appeal to one person, could completely turn the next person off. A great design appeals to the majority of its audience.
Our approach to graphic design is the same as the one we take to logo design - less is more. We always strive to strip any idea back to its basic elements, before slowly working towards the final design and layout.
